He served as Chairman of Executive Committee at TIFF for the past two terms, the 34th TIFF in 2021 and the 35th TIFF in 2022.

Hugh Hudson [Age: 86]

Hudson started his career with documentaries. In 1981, his film Chariots of Fire (presented at the 27th TIFF in 2014) won an Oscar.
In 1995, he served as President of the Jury for the International Competition section at the 8th TIFF.

Carlos Saura [Age: 91]

An acclaimed Spanish auteur. Many of his films had been screened at the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival, and he won the Special Jury Prize Award for Raise Ravens at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival.
 
In 1994, his film Dispara was screened in the Special Invitational Screenings section at the 7th TIFF, and Saura also visited TIFF in Kyoto.

Kawarabata Yasushi [Age: 88]

Film Critic. He joined the Yomiuri Shimbun, a national newspaper with the largest circulation in the world, in 1957, where he was in charge of film reviews, and became a film critic after his retirement. Kawarabata was one of the jury members for the Young Cinema Competition at the 9th Tokyo International Film Festival in 1996.

Noah Cowan [Age: 55]

He served as the Executive Director of SFFILM and the Artistic Director of TIFF Bell Lightbox and Co-Director of the Toronto International Film Festival and among others.
In 2018, he visited Japan to participate in the 31st Tokyo International Film Festival as a member of the Jury for the Japanese Cinema Splash section.
