Synopsis

Blue Lan, known for his acting prowess, won Best Actor at 2015 Golden Bell Awards for the series "Sister". In 2016, he directed his first feature film, A Fool in Love, Love Like a Fool, which achieved box office success and critical acclaim around the world. After School is his second title, which is dedicated to his cram school English teacher/best friend in real life, Micky Chen.

Synopsis

Tai, a member of the local mafia, is chased by an unknown gang that leads him to a hair salon nearby where Feng is working. Thanks to Feng, Tai’s life is saved. Tai returns the favor by forcing all of the gang members to have their hair done by Feng. Meanwhile, as Tai and the gangsters try to find the murderer of his ex-boss, they smell a rat among their gang, which puts Tai in danger.

Synopsis

In 1989. Liao Jie and his father have been saving money, hoping that they will be able to buy a home of their own. However, they fail to notice that the world is rapidly changing. Liao Jie comes to realize the harsh reality of being poor. In contrast to his father, their landlord "Old Fox" emerges as a winner and he seems to be a better mentor to Liao Jie.

Synopsis

In 1994, a female college student, Chi-wei, joins a strike to fight for freedom of expression. During the protest, Chi-wei is slowly attracted to Ching, whose boyfriend, Kuang, is the leader of the student strike. As passionate protest enflames personal desires, the chemistry between Chi-wei and Ching gradually becomes vivid. Both the strike and their triangle relationship go wild. Eventually, Chi-wei realizes that her desires and emotions are as unconstrained as their creative freedom. For her, it's not only a protest for freedom but also an inner fight for self-awakening.

Born in Taiwan in 1980, Su I-Hsuan is a Taipei-based writer and director. Her TV film Where The Sun Don't Shine won Best TV Film, Best Lead Actor, and New Actor in the 2018 Golden Bell Awards.
